Summer is upon us

Summer is upon us, but that certainly does not guarantee good weather in Oslo... we have had lots of rainy days and just plain bad weather. Sigh.

But we have also had some good ones.

We went to the beach with some friends, it was a nice day! Here's Ella enjoying the shade:


The way back to the car got a bit too long for Iluka so for a little while I carried both girls:


And here's Ella during one of her happy moments. She smiles more than Iluka did at the same age, but she also cries a whole lot more. When she is not asleep chances are that she is grumpy (except just after a feed or just when she wakes up - I usually get a big good morning smile when she's in her bed still). But she really cannot just relax.


This is how she usually lies all the time - never a quiet moment... I don't know why but I hope she'll get happier and calmer at some point. There is so much MANAGEMENT involved with this child!


We're off to France on Friday for two weeks, so there might not be any blogging for a while. Not that I have been particularly regular recently...
