Been a while
So it's been a while and now I am completely ovewhelmed with all the photos we've taken of the last few weeks' activities. I got myself a bout of mastitis a few weeks ago and was horizontal for a few days. Then we had a while of really lovely weather and then Iluka and Ella's grand parents came to visit for Iluka's birthday last week. There are so many nice photos, and I don't even know where to begin. But I will try to upload more over the next few days... But Ella has been getting a bit colicy, crying non stop for ages, mostly in the evening, but sometimes throughout the day. She seems to be in pain and nothing can calm her down. It usually helps to wear her in the baby carrier, but sometimes even that takes a long time to help. Phew, it's hard.
Anyway, some photos.
Iluka loves picnics, and here we're having one on one of the nice and warm days we've had.
Ella has been smiling socially for weeks already, she started really early with that. Babies usually don't start till around 6 weeks of age (which she is today) but she started much earlier - it's soooooo lovely!
Here she's wearing a little hat that was given to us by a volunteer who worked for Save the Children in Australia.
And here is one of the many photos Seb took of her when trying to get her passport photo done. She was super spotty at the time with 'baby acne' but those spots have disappeared again.
And a single photo from the grand parents' visit - Iluka and my dad went out for a ride on Seb's bike. I love this photo!

Sorry to hear it's not going so smoothly. But wee Ella is gorgeous, and with that furry hat looks like a proper little Greenlander! Hope Iluka is enjoying having a little sister... even if it's difficult at times (more for you, I know!)
My mom always says, "this too shall pass." maybe it doesn't help, but in our hard nights when Mahalia was tiny, I chanted that to myself so many times! One day she'll eat by herself... one day you'll watch as she learns to pump her legs on a swing... she will one day stop crying. Good luck until that day, but hold on to that hope!
Merci à Ella pour son beau sourire.
Bons pic-nics à Iluka etsa maman.
Thinking of you all. It's hard at times, but you magic woman will get through anything! Lovely pictures, what a cute family you are!
Love, Riitta xxx
