Christmas 2010

So I have been inactive on this blog for a looong time. We have spent Christmas in Paris, and we have visited family/friends who live in Belgium near the Luxemburgish border. For some reason none of the photos from the grand parents' place have turned out very well, so these are all from our travels to Belgium.

We did lots of fun things, despite the weather making things a bit difficult for us. We didn't get stuck in snow anywhere, though, and we consider ourselves lucky for that. Also, we thank them for their generosity, we had a really lovely time there!

Bethanne made cookies and a cookie house, which we all participated in decorating. The girls had lots of fun!


Here we are playing with playdough, and Seb made a very cute set of ears for Mahalia


We went for a walk in Luxemburg, but unfortunately the weather was so foggy that we didn't get any good shots of the city. But apparently it's a beautiful place. We had a (substantial!) lunch in a lovely little restaurant.


And we visited the cathedral where the girls checked out the Nativity.


And here the girls are watching a video with Seb, and they are all very focused.


It's been lovely to get away from the very cold of Oslo, and we have enjoyed the much milder weather here. Iluka is having a blast with her grand parents (my dad has spent Christmas here with us, so that is lovely too!) and enjoys all the people who at any given point in time are ready to play with her!
Next year, these are the things I will consume freely after having given birth: foie gras, wine, cheeses of all kinds, wine, coffee, beer, cheese and wine.
